Halle Berry has one of the greatest bodies in Hollywood. She exudes beauty and fitness. Halle Berry’s had successfully prepared for some great roles that showed off her physique, like the X-Men movies, Catwoman, and Swordfish.
Halle Berry’s body is an aesthetic mix of leanness, muscle tone, and feminine curves. Few people know she’s a diabetic, but she does an excellent job in managing the disease. Through a healthy diet and regular exercise, Berry keeps the disease at bay.
Looking at her, you’d never guess that she’s 44 years old (as of 2010) and a mother. Age doesn’t seem to affect her. I’m sure her diet and exercise regimen helps her stay young and beautiful.
Halle Berry’s Workout
Halle is fortunate enough to work with celebrity trainer, Harley Paskternak, creator of the 5 Factor Diet. She also trained with celebrity trainer, Ramona Braganza, for the X-Men movies. Braganza has an impressive clientele, including Jessica Love Hewitt, Jessica Alba, Jessica Biel, Zac Effron, and Anne Hathaway.
When working with Ramona Braganza, Halle Berry followed the 3-2-1 Training Method, which incorporates a blend of cardio, circuits, and core work.
According to the Jamaican Observer, Halle’s circuit routine involves alternating cardio bursts with weight training exercises.
Circuit 1 consists of 10 minutes on the stairclimber, followed by three rounds of chess presses, step-ups, and lunges. Rest for 30 seconds between each round.
Circuit 2 consists of 10 more minutes of cardio, like jumping rope. Follow the cardio with three rounds of dumbbell rows, squats, and squat thrusts.
Circuit 3 is ten minutes of jogging, followed by core work. Halle does 10 minutes of ab work, including the bicycle maneuver, which is one of the most effective ab exercises, according to the American Council on Exercise.
Halle Berry said in Harper’s Bazaar that she’s “always had to diet” to keep her body in shape, and she doubts those who say it comes naturally.

Halle Berry’s Diet
Halle Berry follows a diet that’s clear of junk foods. It help her manage her diabetes and stay in top shape.
The 5 Factor Diet, created by Harley Paskternak, is a solid well-rounded program that many busy people, including celebrities are following. It involved 5 keys to weight loss:
A 5 Week Plan
5 Meals a Day
5 Ingredient Meals
25 Minute Workouts
5 Cheat Days in 5 Weeks
The program appears to be very effective and is available online, if you’d like to give it a shot. My personal preference, though, is Tom Venuto’s Burn the Fat, Feed the Muscle, which is affordable and really the only diet and exercise program anyone (regardless of current goals) ever needs. It is truly a life changing book.
She does let loose sometimes though. In the Harper’s Bazaar interview, Halle Berry said, “I like Doritos. I’m usually watching The Biggest Loser eating Doritos.” Ha! She is human, after all.
Whatever path you choose, just make a commitment to get fit and stay focused. Anyone can make progress and shoot for the stars.
I just love Halle Berry’s humor and grace. Here’s a great video her Halle Berry dancing with Ellen. Great stuff!
